It's best to wait at least 24 hours, or until your provider advises it's safe. Applying makeup too soon can increase irritation and interfere with the healing process.
-
Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, hot yoga, saunas, and hot tubs for at least 24–48 hours, or as recommended by your provider. Heat and sweat can increase irritation while your skin is healing.
-
Avoid retinol and other active ingredients, including exfoliating acids, until your skin has fully healed or your provider recommends reintroducing them. During healing, stick to a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and daily sunscreen.
-
Yes. Light peeling or flaking can be a normal part of the healing process, particularly after a chemical peel. Allow your skin to shed naturally and avoid picking or peeling it, as this can lead to irritation and affect your results.
-
Many clients notice healthier, brighter-looking skin within a few days. Improvements in texture and tone continue as your skin heals, with collagen production from microneedling developing over the following weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Keep your brows and lashes completely dry for the first 24 hours after your appointment. This includes washing your face, swimming, steam, saunas, and excessive sweating. Allowing the treatment to fully set helps achieve the best, longest-lasting results.
-
Avoid eye makeup and mascara for the first 24 hours. After that, you can return to your normal routine. If possible, choose a non-waterproof mascara, as it is gentler to remove and may help extend the life of your lash lift.
-
For the first night, try to avoid sleeping face down or with your brows or lashes pressed firmly into your eye mask or pillow. This helps prevent the hairs from being disturbed while the treatment is still setting.
-
Avoid oil-based products around the treatment area for the first 24 hours. After that, a conditioning serum or nourishing treatment may be recommended to help keep your brows and lashes healthy between appointments.
-
Most clients enjoy their results for 6–8 weeks, depending on their natural hair growth cycle and how well they follow the recommended aftercare. Regular maintenance appointments can help keep your brows and lashes looking their best.
-
We generally recommend booking your next Brow Lamination or Lash Lift every 6–8 weeks. Your provider can recommend the best schedule based on your hair growth cycle and desired results.
